Extractors

Extractor's are a secret group of people who've died of the affliction and been brought back by the Plague Doctor for the main purpose of dealing with the Afflicted. Because the affliction changes/mutates aspects of a person's physical and spiritual bodies, each Extractor has unique abilities.

Using their unique abilities and tools created by their Necroterics they investigate hauntings caused by the affliction and extract the virus from the Afflicted.

Marek

Marek is one of the main characters and the unspoken leader of the Extractors. He is the Plague Doctor's right hand man. He's a quiet person, with a hard exterior but a kind  heart. He comes from a wealthy family but over the years he's turned his family estate into a shelter for the downtrodden.  His Affliction abilities are immortality, being able to see and hear ghosts, and can turn into a ghost himself at will.
